The beater is my all purpose pickup truck, and one that I use for camping and offroading. That combination of offroading and camping is called overlanding by fancy people.
The beater has rust in the usual body places, but the frame is solid. It’s a half ton with a 5.9 liter gas v8, auto trans, and locking rear diff.
The build of it is over on Expedition Portal, and I’ll be migrating it here as time goes on, and filling in more spaces where I do mods and travel in it.
